We want to build strong relationships with the body of Christ and reach out to the non-churched community by building relationships through home fellowship groups.
Real life change happens in the context of relationships—home fellowship groups. In the Bible, they worshiped in the temple, but ministry happened house to house.
“You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.” Acts 20:20
HOME FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
ROVIDE THREE THINGS:
- A place to Connect
"Yes, whatever a person is like, I try to find common ground with him so he will let me tell him about Christ and let Christ save him." 1 Corinthians 9:22 (LB)
- A place to Protect
"We know what real love is because Christ gave up His life for us. And so we also ought to give up our lives for our Christian brother and sisters." 1 John 3:16 (NLT)
- A Place to Grow
"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
HOW HOME FELLOWSHIP GROUPS WORK
Our home fellowship groups meet once a month in houses all around the region and provide a place for you to connect, grow, and discuss the issues and challenges of life. Home fellowship groups are also where we pray, care for one another, and are missed if we don’t show up!
There are a couple things you should know about our home fellowship groups:
- They are “Free Market” groups. Group leaders open their homes to host a home fellowship group. The week before House to House there will be an opportunity to sign up to attend a home fellowship group at various homes. Just pick a host home and sign up! If you have a guest coming we ask that you notify the host of how many will be attending.
- They change monthly. Each month there will be an opportunity to sign up for a home group to attend. We prefer that you not sign up at the same home as the month before.
